Anyone else experiencing unusually strong work volume?
I've been slammed with work lately. Far, far more than usual! I'm already at 200% of last year's volume. Here's hoping it won't slow down! Is this the norm, or am I hitting the perfect storm of good interest rates and good luck?

Business up here as well. Think the slowdown may have
actually helped in that the part-time, or low ball accepting SA's may not have been able to stay in business during the slowdown? No actual proof of this but I have been receiving calls from companies that have not called me in years because they would not meet my fees once they began lowering their offerings. They are meeting my fees now.
General notary work volume has also picked up recently.

Very good volume here too last month, and this month and has like EOM calling. It's really spiked even more in September. Hopefully it'll last for a good while.

This has been my best year ever!
...and I've been doing this for over almost 8 yrs. First it was refinances, then purchases, and now it's both. Let's hope it keeps it up for awhile!

Definitely Better than last year....
More business, better fees, and (dare I say it) less problems collecting. I think there has been some cleanout, both with deadbeat companies, and work-for-nothing notaries. Here in Maryland we have the added bonus of recent enforcement of the Title Producer License requirement, so this has probably contributed also.
I certainly hope it lasts....

Yes. It seems that the stimulous of the low rates is
working. It makes me happy. The borrowers/homeowners are getting help with lower rates & payments & we're benefitting with more work. It's a win-win situation. About time for a positive upswing on the economic front. For the first time all year I'm looking at a nice stack of invoices in my accounts receivable. Hooray!
