Anyone having trouble with their NotRot fax # today?
I keep getting an error, but I've got a new fax machine on my side that I'm trying to fax to it... it might be user error...

I'm pretty sure things look okay on this end. You might consider calling your Notary Fax number from a cell phone or land line to confirm it picks up with a fax tone. Once confirmed, you'll probably want to invest a bit more time in monkeying with your new fax machine. Make sure you're including 1 and the area code if necessary...

Thanks Harry. Yes, it's picking up. I hear it pick up over the line, and I can hear it if I dial through the phone, but my fax gives me a "no answer" error--even though I heard the Not Rot number pick up. Weird stuff. I'm thinking mine must be set on the wrong setting (maybe set to pulse dialing or something?) I'm downloading manuals. I hate it when the new technology is smarter than I am.
Thanks for following up so quick! You guys have the best customer service out there.

Oh, I feel like an idiot. Just figured out my problem.... I have a voice mail on my fax line--so the "voice mail ready" tone on my end is interfering with the fax sending. **blushing**

If your phone provider is VOIP company like Comcast, or ATT make sure you are using one pair telephone wire.
