Bad check letter

Does anyone have a letter to send someone if they bounced a check on you? I have a client that I did general notary work for and her check bounced ($10 check). She was supposed to bring me the cash for the check and the $10 fee my bank charged and hasn't. PM me and I will send you my email address.

An Avon customer wrote a hot check to me a few years ago. In spite of repeated promises to pay me, she eventually stopped answering my calls. After a year and a half of this, I just happened to find out that writing a hot check is a (correct me if I'm wrong) felony. I was told to take the check to the district attorney for them to pursue. So I did...and after nearly 2 years of trying to collect on my own, they had my money in just a little over a week.

Call the person, tell them you are giving her one more chance to make good on the check and if she doesn't, you will be turning it over to the district attorney. Then do it.
