Fun game... count the number of issues...

I think some of you have seen this video before... but I looked at it again today and my head was hurting.

I quit counting after 3 mins.

Every time he opened his mouth, an issue came out of it.

Is this a real notary?

Holy smokes. Is that supposed to be what NOT to do? It was just funny at first when he kept talking about doing a notary, but I started twitching when he was explaining the p.o.a, giving advice, and practically talking her into signing the document. If that was a real signing, it would have been a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Please Rob the Notary, put down the seal and go work at McDonald's.

Yes... he is a CA commissioned Notary...

and there are more videos. He has a whole youttube channel... with VERY recent videos. It appears as if he's trying to make a reality show about being a notary.

They're all pretty scary.

It seems as if it's a "don't do this" type of this... but I've heard from several sources that this guy REALLY is like this.

This looks staged to me

I think he wrote a script and everyone is acting their parts.

Re: This looks staged to me

I really hope it was a staged event, just a few of the basic issues:

He parks in the client's driveway.
His attire is barely casual, should have been at least in a button up shirt to look more professional.
Has mom signing before any ID verification(in fact never did the ID verification)
Mom admits to being unsure, Rob then provides legal advice (I hope Rob is an attorney)
Rob compels the mother to sign the document.
Rob asks for / accepts food and drink... Why didn't he also ask to see/use the bathroom?

Oh well it's a good look at some of what not to do,
Jason

He is just trying to practice LAW (unsucessfully)

Re: Just the way I do it!!

My guess is he thinks it's:

a. educational
and b. entertaining

I just think it's frightening.

Re: Just the way I do it!!

Read somewhere that he's trying to get a 'life of a notary' reality show on TV.

I am not in Rob-the-notary's corner, but

you have to admit...there's been some interesting moments in our notary lives.

I've seen his stuff. I am not pro-Rob; like Alex said, he is frightening.

Is he kidding?

I doubt very much that anyone who contacts a notary would want the whole world to know their business. Reality Show? No way, can't see it happening. And this guy did everything wrong. Didn't even ask for ID. Looks like someone just needing attention.

I believe this is very broad satire
