HP P2015 printer
I have a p2015 and I LOVE it, however, it's started doing a strange thing--the top two lights (toner and rollers) are both orange, and it cycles on and off by itself over and over. This isn't in the troubleshooting guide and I know several of you also have this same printer. Has anyone else run into this?
I'm going to call my 'printer man" tomorrow but was wondering if anyone else has seen this before, or knows how to fix it. OF all things, I've read that microwaving the motherboard on this printer tends to repair the welding and may fix some of the "fatal errors" but I'm not about to try that myself...I need both my printer and my microwave. (Also, none of the places that provided this instruction also indicated how long it should be microwaved, or what the mother board looks like. ;-)

I have a similar model at work and it also does this. (the two lights) I was told by tech that it is a power issue. In other words, it is not getting enough power. The printer is very demanding. For example, you have too many things plugged in to that power source. Just a try....good luck. Scott

You rock! Thanks for getting back to me on this. That makes perfect sense, as I've been having mysterious power ailments all day today. I must have moved some plugs around. My lamp, also has been acting up. Very interesting. Thanks again!
