Are there any states where the non-titled, non-borrowing spouse signs refi docs?

In Illinois, non-titled, non-borrowing spouses MUST sign the Truth in Lending, Right to Cancel, Itemization of Amount Financed (if present in the loan package) and Mortgage. A few additional lending and title documents may be included, but those are the basics.

Re: Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa

Clarification. They are required to sign the legal docs only. RTC, Mortgage/Deed, TIL, Itemization and some companies require the Correction agreement.

Re: Just Curious-Zoey

Are you referring to the 'whole' lender package or just some docs such as the legals? As others have stated, if its just the legals, there are a few states that require non-borrowing spouse to sign.
