NREIS Scheduling

Okay, I get a call, they meet my fee. I accept signing for 6pm on Friday evening but never get email docs. I have no number for the borrower on my confirmation, and no one returns me email or telephone call. I don't care because I'm hanging by my tail on a thin limb. 12 signings on Friday til 11pm. Sometime Friday evening I get another call to do a signing, and I ask about the one I never received docs for, and scheduler says it's the same one. I accept the new signing day/time for Saturday. Guess what. A replay of the night before, no edocs, confirmation has no tele#s for borrower, so I just shine it. Plenty to do with 8 files on Saturday until 7pm. Anyone else have this experience?

I had that happen on one yesterday, though not from NREIS--got a call, my fee was met, 10:00am Saturday, never got a confirmation, never got docs, never even knew what company it was, but NREIS is in my caller ID, so I know it wasn't them. I can only guess that whomever it was that had called me found someone with a lower fee. My fees are high for my area, but I haven't had any trouble getting them met, so the fact that i didn't have to go to work at 10:00 for a company I had never heard of never broke my heart. I have only ever had that happen one time before, and I think it was NREIS that time--about a year ago.

101livescan - you got a confirmation and no edocs......I got edocs and no confirmation.

Had something similar happen two weeks ago.....got a call, seemed like the ideal signing - fee agreed to and I could even set the signing time with the borrower directly.....sweet! (so I thought). Got no email confirmation. Called them back and emailed them to say I need confirmation to book the signing in my schedule. Usually, I give an hour or two to email me the confirmation but since the signing would have been three days away, I gave until the next day (afternoon) to email me the confirmation. Nope, didn't get it. Three days later, no confirmation but edocs were in my Inbox.

Unfortunately, that day was booked with regular notary work and couldn't do the signing, they didn't meet my deadline so I could book the signing. Some would say since I got the edocs, I could do the signing, right? Up to this point, the fee agreement was only verbal. Without a confirmation, I'd complete the signing and get a check sent for $5.....we had no *written* agreement. Company was not an SS and not one I ever worked with before or even listed on any of the boards. But I did some googling and decided to give them a chance.

Here is what I want to know?

How do you manage 12 signings in one day?? The most I have done is 6 and I was so tired I was seeing stars.

Re: Here is what I want to know?

I don't think I've ever done more than 6 in a day, either, and I was worn to a frazzle. Of course, not being able to schedule them in such a way as to prevent driving back & forth through the city doesn't help a bit! If the borrowers were coming to me, I could easily do 8 in a day. 11 or 12? I don't think so.
