National Loan Closings
Has anyone actually worked for them? I know the sign up email they sent out a while ago caused a stir. Do they handhold, want too many fax backs, pay on time?

If you do a search you will find info on this, Donna. NLC is not the ss--it is the platform that some ss are using. The docs are picked up on the site, completion report, etc. The only ss I used to work with that used this platform is no longer meeting my fees. I also haven't gotten any "closing available" emails in quite a while.

I did search but did not find the answers to my specific questions. They look like an SS to me, I could be wrong. They called me for a closing, I went on the website, and am now trying to decide weather to press to accept or or reject button. The fee was acceptable.

Did a couple through them. Fee was acceptable and they did pay on time. Go for it.

I believe they are a SS and a national dbase, that also
provides an online platform for SS, TC or lenders to subscribe to for scheduling and tracking closings.

You are absolutely right, Cari. They are a database company, not a signing service.

National Loan Closings' emails for $70 are a waste of time!
Unless your new and desperate, getting email alerts for $70 e-docs closings are a waste of time. I never bother logging onto their site anymore to say I might be available for a fair fee because it's never accepted. Not worth the effort unless your starving!

the platform has its pitfalls for nsa's...in that it hides
the low baller SS or TC that's offering those low ball fees. And those emails can be somewhat confusing in that it appears that NLC is offering those low ball feeswhen they allegedly not.

Re: the platform has its pitfalls for nsa's...in that it hides
What I am having trouble understanding is why a SS would pay these people to use their "platform" when they can do their own scheduling. And by the looking at their website, if I were a TC I wouldn't trust them with my confidential docs. I almost turned back the signing I took from them yesterday, only $10 below my fee and they called me BTW, but I kept it hoping it'll give me a clue as to what the real deal is.

whups, this is NOT the company I was referring to here...
the company I thought is no longer on SC...guys name was Brian who contacted me...I thought it was the same name but perhaps a variation of it...

the company I thought we were discussing is
National Loan Closers, and I double checked, while logged on, I don't see them anymore in SC...I guess Brian couldn't take all of the publicity of whether his company was a SS or only a dbase for others to use...bla bla...oh well...good riddens...they can keep those $75.00 and under closings!
