NotaryFly?

Anybody hear of them? They sent me an email yesterday that I am in their database. They wanted me to go to their site to verify my information. I have not done so.

Same here, nor did I open it. I'll treat it as any that doesn't have enough info to be able to contact them by landline to question who they are.
I've recieved this before and moved it to a file for "notaries wanted. I will keep it un-opened as a reference.

I received their invitation quite a few months back. (I think the website and services were in beta testing.) At any rate, I've been listed with them and so far, have not received any calls.

I look at it this way. The price is right (FREE) and it never hurts to have your name and contact information out there as much as possible. Who knows, someone may stumble across the site and find you. Nothing ventured and everything to gain.

Actually, my information was already in there. However, it was erroneous. Good thing I checked.
Than ks, Paul.

I checking mine also - and it was incorrect. I should say outdated. It contained an efax number I haven't used in 5 years or so and other errors. Don't know where they got the info from. I tried to update my profile but it would not save, even though the invitation asked to update your profile. Maybe the beta test isn't finished yet. The site is not working properly.

Re: NotaryFly owned by Select Signings ...

... according to the Who Is site I use, Notary Fly is operated by Select Signings of Santa Ana, Ca. which is in Signing Central, although Notary Fly uses a Newport Beach, CA address. It looks like Notary Fly charges the hiring entity $49.00 per 'job' for using a notary in their data base, if I read these facts on the website correctly, and the notary pays nothing for being listed on the Notary Fly web site/data base, if I understand those facts correctly.

Re: NotaryFly owned by Select Signings ...

Is it $49.00 PER signing?

Re: NotaryFly owned by Select Signings ...

If the $49.00 is PER signing, and title companies have a set fee which they are able to pay, then the $49.00 will come off of our fee in the end. We'll get paid less not more. Some signing companies have a very small margin of profit (so they say) which is why they can't pay us. I think a lot of signing companies would be glad to gross $49.00 per signing to find one of us.

Re: NotaryFly owned by Select Signings ...

$49.00 per job (which equals one 'credit', as per the lingo on the website) is what I read but you should look around on the notaryfly.com web site for the details. But, getting your notary information on the site appears to be at no charge to the notary.
