Paul Gambs- Pacific Loan Document Service
Is he using a different company name? I hear he is working as Vista National in Brentwood CA. Is this true?

I recall that he is somehow related (literally) to the people at Vista National.

I think this may very well be the case with some of the ss that continue to stay in business with little regard to their poor business practices. A notary's day is much easier with the Pauls of the world not in it......I'm just saying.

Paul has a facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?ref=profile&id=100000607382161#!/profile.php?id=1076439100&ref=ts
It only says he is employed by PLDS .

Oops, wrong link ...
... Paul in there, somewhere. Jr. Fancypants is only a cat. A handsome cat, to be sure, but he has nothing to do with anything notary.

The only reason the he stays in business is because notaries keep accepting work from him. Just like SOX................after all these years of ripping people off they are still in business. Want them out of business, quit accepting their closings.

Totally in agreement desktopfull!!
If you don't accept, they have no business -- provided everyone else doesn't accept.

oops didnt mean to "re-rate" you P.Gambs
(we all know you read this forum) I was in Signing Central and re-reading my rating among others. I didn't mean to hit-update, now it looks like I just rated it today. My comments are really from a much earlier date. Just wanted to clarify, if anyone tries to PM me for my "recent" experience, with them; there is none.

The same lady (can't remember her name, the one with the accent) with Pacific Document Services actually called me a couple of weeks ago for a job. Needless to say I didn't accept!

Yes, same company different name
I received a call from "Vista National" 05/12/10 requesting my services. The phone number was actually Paul's (a.k.a. Pacific Document Services). I didn't accept the request.
It appears to be a different company name but same people. It seems that under this company name, SA's are being paid (according to ratings in SC). Of course, according to SC ratings, Pacific Document Services also paid as agreed at times in '07 & '08.
If he does not actually "own" Vista, he is affiliated in some way with them. As for me, I will not accept any requests from them or Pacific Document Services based upon my personal past experience with Paul Gambs.

Re: Yes, same company different name
Received an email from Paul about my post.
** "Just to let you know that Vista and PDs have nothing to do with one another, the original owner of PDS Al soto sold PDS to me years agao and opened up Vista, totally seperate company and no affiliations' **
Mentioned to him that the numbers were showing the same company.
He mentioned that Al Soto was his father-in-law.
I am posting this information because I told him that I would since he contacted me stating that they were not the same company. For clarification, I stand by the number information showing up as the same company just honoring my word to update my post since he contacted me.
