Are you a general notary looking for beer money, OR
a notary signing/closing agent trying to make it in that profession?
Also, use the orange search button very useful here.
Good luck!

I would highly recommend that you make your profile here work for you! You need to flesh it out a bit.

Check out companies in Signing Central. List with the other 2 sites also. You may want to remove your home number since it is not a TN area code and just list the other numbers. Your profile here is not very good. It tells the hiring entity nothing about your skills, good points, etc only how you base your fee structure.

Some that you should contact are LSI, ServiceLink,
First American Signature Services Nations Signature Closers Title Source Nations Direct
These are all ones that will definitely pay the agreed upon fee. Some are more pleasant to work for than others.
Good Luck

Re: Some that you should contact are LSI, ServiceLink,
LSI requires two years of experience. Don't know about the others.

Re: Some that you should contact are LSI, ServiceLink,
I agree with GA/ATTY - sign up with Nations Direct. I have never worked for them because they don't pay squat and they handhold you to death, but from what I've read on here they are probably a good company for new notaries to cut their teeth with. Once you get the hang of what you are doing you can cut them loose for greener $$ pastures.

I understand that newbies have no clue how to get started.
I was there once myself. Try the orange search button for message 33325 & read, read, read. If yu are "waiting for work" you will be waiting for a long time. You have to go out after it & market, market, market. Signing Central has companies with ratings/comments. The bad companies can smell a newbie & will take advantage of you. I would suggest you don't start taking assignments until you are full prepared. Good luck.

It's all about research...
I researched the signing agent end of things for THREE YEARS before I finally started doing it. Of course, I had zero experience in the financing field so I had to learn everything from scratch. I'm glad I did, too. The first loan I did, the customer said, 'Wow, you must do this a lot, you sure know what all these terms mean."
Heh... I didn't dare tell her the truth. I just said, "I like to study a lot."

TIP: get a different e-mail address
I don't know what would prompt you to use your name backwards, but you need something more professional than that, AND something extremely easy to for others to decipher, spell, & hear over the phone.

Good eye Renee - I saw that garbled mess and just shook
my head and left...didn't catch the significance of it.
Thus, I agree on this also. Have a dedicated email box for your business - no family, friends, junk.
