Havent been paid for a signing I did on 7/8. Been going back and forth with Tiffany McCann since beginning of Sept. Sept 2 she claimed the check was mailed out 8/6, I never received it and the only check I did was receive was from another signing which I received and cashed 8/23. So she claim she had to investigate. So I call several times during the following week. I get sort of a response on 9/9 saying they will cancel payment on other check and resend it. Today date is 9/17 and I still havent received payment for 7/8 signing. So I emailed to find the status of the check. Tiffany responds back "see previous email, it was mailed out 8/6". So I respond back telling her the many times I called and spoke with her directly. Then I followed immediately with a call. Now she claims she has to go back through her emails. When I call the the main number and ask for someone in accounting, I always get forwarded to the scheduler, Tiffany McCann.

Going back through my records, I see they even paid for the 8/8 signing but how can they forget the 7/8 signing? Frustrating.

Emailing the Escrow Supervisor Kristi Hutchinson

Definitely have them on my blacklist.

It seems as though you have kept detailed notes of all the events that occurred post signing. Maybe you should take your post, do a little editing, put it in a demand for payment letter, send it to this Tiffany person at Richmond Title, CC the escrow supervisor and also the lender. .

Not defending Richmond, but I recently moved and no matter that I informed everyone of the new address, provided a new W9, both when I accepted the signing and again when I statused &/or invoiced...a lot of checks went to old address and were forwarded. And about 1/2 dozen got lost. Getting any co. to stop payment & reissue a new check is like having a root canal. Matter of fact, think I'd rather have the root canal.

@Donna, I emailed the escrow supervisor. All she did was forward the message to Tiffany.

@Lee. Well I know it has nothing to do with wrong address becuase I have done other signings for them and I have already been paid for those signings. Just this one seems to be out in limbo and no one wants to pay me this signing.

Antoinette, I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties with Richmond. I do 20-25 signings a month for Richmond, at my regular fee. They pay me twice a month. There is never an issue with additions to my fee when necessary, trip fees, etc.

They just lost their chief scheduler, and Tiffany has stepped into his position. My experience with her, in the three years I have been doing Richmond closings, is that she is all business, quite professional and quite competent. In fact, just last week before I learned the chief scheduler was leaving, I sent him a note extolling Tiffany's virtues.

I cannot and won't try to explain what has happened with your one closing; the only surmise I would have would be that the problem in some way is associated with the change in personnel. What I would suggest is that you cool your jets a bit and not assign any ill motives to anyone at this point. Don't handle your contacts by phone; always do it by email, and make sure in each email that you include everything Tiffany needs to act on your problem. She's got her hands full right now, and it won't help resolve your issue if she has to go searching for information or previous correspondence.

Sorry you're having a problem, and I hope it works out.

Thanks but she has the email chain as I have been responding with that chain in all my emails. They were supposed to resend the check a week before per her discussion with accounting. I have yet to receive that check and thats why I reached out again. Email obviously didnt work for me because in email I was told I was already paid for the signing. Hence the reason I had to make a call.
