What would you charge?
I have been assigned (3) refi's, all seperate properties therefore 3 sets of documents. They will all be signed by the same bwrs at the same time and location. The SS suggested my regualr fee for one, then whatever for the next two. So, as an example, if the first one is $100.00, would $75.00 for #2 and $75.00 for #3 be reasonable? I've never had this situation before. Thanks.

interesting point, James. It will involve a heck of alot of printing but only one trip. I haven't given them a quote yet, though I do have the job. Thanks.

I'd give them a $10 travel credit and #2 and 3.

I'd charge $175, $150, $125...but that's just me...
Can't tell you what you should charge, but above represents somewhere I'd MIGHT go. But seriously, consider all the work involved with those transactions.
1. Print 6 sets of documents, 2-3 reams maybe more, depending on size of packets of course, 2. 1-3 hours at the table, 3. Significant prep work before and after to ensure docs were ALL signed by borrower and signed/notarized correctly 4. Any fax backs.
And I'm sure there is more to add above.....so maybe my suggested fees look good now? Good luck and LUCKY YOU!

I would be willing to give them some kind of discount on
#s 2 and 3. You are saving travel time, ID time, and I would expect that once they have seen one set of dox, they have pretty much seen them all. 2nd and 3rd set should go very quickly. I once had 10 identical packages at one sitting. They offered full fee for all, so who was I to argue. Turned out to be the most profitable day of my signing career.

I am pretty sure the SS is charging full fee on all three.
So when ever is a chance to save some money it has to be in the SS advantage?

I once did 3 for Paige(Eleventh hour signing)and if I remember correctly she paid 125.00 each one. That was the good days, and also when she had good reputation, LOL.

I did this once, I charged $100 per package. The docs were sent to me overnight, but the travel was almost an hour one way. It also was for a title company, not a ss.

FULL FEE FOR ALL 3 OF COURSE
Why would you charge anything else? I'm willing to bet title's charges were exactly the same for all 3 transactions - yours should be no different.

Bingo, Joan! Why are y'all so willing to cut your fee? Title sure doesn't.

Full fee for #1, 50% for #s 2 and 3, but if edocs, I would charge the full edocs fee for all 3.
However, I would make quite sure that the payment terms were clearly understood in case of a no-sign or rescind as these would be taking up time I could use for other appointments - so in case of a no-sign in the first 5 minutes, I'd lose a whole evening of income.
