They told me they pay when they receive the signed document,
3 weeks? Was there only 1 notarization and did they o/n the docs to you Tish? Never heard of them before, want to be sure they are reputable.

Re: They told me they pay when they receive the signed document,
I can't remember how long my last check took, but it was within 30 days. When I first started with them they would O/N the check within a few days or a week.

They O/N the docs to you.
Some of the docs are duplicate or triplicate. They usually include the check for the borrowers. Also, if you need to collect any documentation, be sure to colllect them before you disburse the check. I have to tell you that I actually had an unfortunate experience where I felt that I had to run for the safety of my car or the borrower's boyfriend might have assaulted me. This could happen to anyone on any job. As soon as I got into my car and locked the door, I called the police. The police knew this guy as they threatened to handcuff him. It seemed to me that there might be a domestic violence situation going on as she took out the loan and he was supposed to get the check. Another time I did one, the family of Husband wife and 4 little girls were living in the Motel 6. Not pretty.

Yeah, a lot of the time...these are people getting title loans on the car and are in pretty desperate need of cash. After all, their website is: www.ineedcashnow.net

It's a toss-up with them. When it comes to paying their notaries... you will get paid, and the work is easy. It's usually a notarized signature and they sometimes ask for photographs of the vehicle. Often you'll be asked to deliver a check to the signer when you're done.
Here's the thing, though... this is a sub-prime auto financing company. They also do title loans on vehicles. That's likely what you'll be dealing with. The interest on these loans is outrageous and I've heard from more than one person that they regret dealing with these people.
But, as a vendor... they will treat you right. The work is easy and they pay because they want these loans closed. A $4,000 loan will earn easily 3 times that over the two years on the contract and they tend to be pushy and shady with their borrowers once the loans are signed. They have a history of misapplied payments, too.
There's no harm in taking their jobs... if they send you check for the borrower, chances are there will be a check for you in the package, too. As JanetK said the other day, you just have to learn to bite your tongue when you see the loan terms. Your head will spin.

Kathy, I believe it was an short edoc pkg. I do remember that and it didn't take more than 15 minutes. One maybe 2 notarizations. Good Luck

Did my first with them on 9/18th. 2 notarizations, very small edocs package, easy enough - inspect vehicle and have principals sign all docs, still too about 30 minutes. Still waiting for payment.

Re: Wilshire Consumer Credit-GOOD COMPANY! No issues
40 days and counting waiting for payment. Signing itself is easy, one notarization and maybe 20 pages. Some notaries have been paid fast, others longer. Don't know what's up with that.
