change of phone number
Has anyone ever had to change their cell phone number? My current carrier is not treating me right and I may have to switch to another carrier. But I am so worried about getting any closings because I am afraid they will still try my old number. It seems it will be alot of work to have to call everyone I have worked for to tell them my number has changed. I was wondering if anyone has had this experience. If I want any closings I guess this is what I am going to have to do.

If you change carriers you get to keep your phone number
No worries!!!!

Yes, you can transfer your existing no. to a new phone &
provider. I can't imagine trying to change nos. in this business.

CAUTION
DO NOT notify your old company that you are leaving and want to port your number to the new company. Just tell your new provider to port your number.

It is called porting - you say you want to port your old number. I have done this, others I know have also with no difficulties.

You should be able to port your number to your new carrier.
I did have to change when I switched from Verizon to AT&T (BIG-HUGE Mistake on gong with AT&T for cell) I just made sure to change all advertising within 24 hours and emailed, faxed and called all my regulars within 48 hours and biz did not drop.
