esignings / Ipad
Has anyone attempted to use an Ipad to do an esigning? I've been called to do a few, but have declined based on what I've read about them on this forum. I don't feel comfortable taking my laptop to someone's house. Plus along with that printed documents, I have only been offered $85 to do the esignings. But thinking perhaps of using an Ipad but not sure how the apple software works with the esigning software.

Fiserv(FLAGSTAR) platform will not work with any APPLE product (unless you have downloaded I/E for Apple) or their interest software. I believe it is the same for Gemstone(AMTRUST). The restrictions are: I/E ver 6 or higher, No ADOBE generics. No Safari, No Chrome, NO Firefox.

Re: $85 esignings!!!
I do lots of esignings and both Amtrust and Fiserv/Flagstar work best on IE. Firefox doesn't run their apps well. One more thing, at $85 for an esign, you might as well stay home and through the money out the window. If you started at $135 for an esign, then you might be making money. You need a computer and aircard, plus printing some of the docs. You got lowballed and I hope that you didn't take the assignment

No I didn't. I don't take that for normal signings and having read up on the "double" work that seems to be esignings I'm just not interested.

I have been doing the E-signings for two years, mostly Amtrust but in the last couple of months now many Flagstar also. I switched laptops yesterday and thought that it was already to go but had to use borrower's computer on an AmTrust E-signing because I was unable to view the docs on my laptop. I got logged in and to the landing page to see docs that were going to be signed and then when clicking on Go...... a blank screen comes up with a tiny little thing in the corner that looked like a jpeg icon. Anyway, something must be incompatible and I will have to call AmTrust to figure this out and use other laptop for now. Darn Glitches!! I sometimes really don't understand technology.
