got this email today that they are only going to pay 60% of what they owe me? I just started working with them for about 2 months. Anyone have this issue please advise. I got the impression it's a take it or leave it kinda situation, just last week before the email I did two jobs.

They owe me from February. At least it was only $50 I went and had a mortgage recorded for them. They have been nasty to me. I just let it go.

That's another reason no one should work for them. They kept pushing a loan mod with up front fees which is illegal here in VA. Tried to educate them on that fact including sending them the loan mods by state list. They didn't want to hear it. Said they had to adjust to the changes in the market to stay competitive - even knowing it's illegal, they continued calling notaries in my area. I called around to 2 other notaries and they had told them the same thing. If they will do that, knowing it's illegal, then that should tell you something.

After reviewing SC I'd leave it without even a second thought. As far as what they owe you, I'd start today hounding them for full payment after that charming email.
