Adobe PDF
Hi all,
For the first time ever after years of downloading and printing PDF files, when I used Adobe today to open PDF files, it wouldn't print. The message that keeps coming up is "Output File Name" and the option is a blank line and ok or cancel.
Has anyone else seen this problem and how do I correct it? I tried printing to two different printers and the same message comes up. I looked through the Adobe website for help but that was useless.
Any ideas? Thank you.

This may sound obvious, but make sure that "Print to file" is not checked. If it is, Adobe will ask you for a file name even if you select a physical printer.

That was exactly what was wrong! I can't believe it! I must have accidentally selected "Print to file" last night when I was trying to print something quickly. I don't know, it has never happened before. Notary Rotary is so wonderful to have this place to help resolve problems. Thank you, thank you both for responding and thank you MikeC for figuring out my problem.

If Mike's suggestion didn't work, it might just be a corrupt file. I've run into that a number of times. The client just had to resend it.
