Anyone have a Brother 8890dw with 2nd tray?
Has anyone purchased a 2nd tray for their 8890 and does it auto feed the correct paper size? I am thinking about buying a 2nd tray for my Brother now that my HP 4100 that I have had for years finally needs major repair. I need another printer so if any of you can recommend one that is reliable, let me know, I am looking for something faster than the 4100.
Thank you!

I got the extra try for my Brother MFC8120 and it auto feeds the correct paper as long as you have the box checked for choose correct paper size. It's awesome! Wish I had done so earlier. It was rather expensive though. Almost as much as the printer...lol!

SHOULD work just fine. I have used LTs (2nd or Lower Tray) with other Brother 5XXX series printers and expect I will soon order the LT 5300 for an 8xxxx series MFC that I have. Brother shows the LT 5300 as the correct part number for your machine, and the cheapest price I found after a quick perusal from well rated sellers is $121 including free shipping from BUY.com. They may or may not have additional discounts/coupons available. Good luck.
