BOI deed

I'm doing a timeshare this afternoon and am drawing a complete blank on what a BOI deed is. I've googled it and can't come up with the actual name of this. I've seen them before just refreshing myself on this. Senior moment for sure this morning.

I've only seen Warranty Deeds and Special Warranty Deeds even for timeshares. Some timeshares are sold without deeds, but have a "Right to Use" instrument.

BOI sounds like "Bank Of ?????"

Timeshare? Then it's gotta mean "Bunch Of Idiocy."

Bank or Ireland ??...

or maybe Battle of the Immortals, where they have an 'Advanced Deed of Trust' quest ? (Don't ask me what all that means). Those are what came up in my Google search.

Re: BOI deed...found this...

http://www.tug2.net/advice/Transfer.htm

scroll down under "Document Preparation" - in parenthesis - "(For some states, the document may be called a Bargain and Sale Deed,...."

So, perhaps Bargain of Interest Deed?

Just a thought.

Re: BOI deed...found this...

I'm thinking somebody goofed and called it BOI instead of BAS. Maybe it should be Bargain and Sale Deed.

Re: BOI deed...

Possibly 'Biennial Ownership Interest'. Giving the owner the right to occupy the timeshare every other year instead of annually.

Re: BOI deed = Everyone knows it is: Born on Island

Therefore, BOI + Deed = Act that took place by someone who was born on Galveston Island.
