Bar codes on docs

I received a package at 7:00 for a 7:00 closing last night. (Borrower had been kept in the loop as to when I might arrive.) When I was printing it, I noticed that there were bar codes on at least the first page of each document. On several docs, that code caused the form information to drop to the next page. For instance, the spouse's signature line and/or name was the only thing printed on the second page.

I realize the bar code makes it easier for whoever works the documents to run them through the scanner and process them more quickly, but geez, if they're sending .pdf files, can't they at least look at the paperwork before they send it to me to waste my paper?

FWIW, I had the spouse sign under the other signer on the main page, without a line or printed name. Hope it flies.

I've seen a lot of the same, and I did the same as you. I had the spouse sign on the line on the first page, even though the name was on the 2nd page.
