Doing Signing for Comapnies dealing with Unclaimed Property

Has anyone yet to do a signing for companies contacting people who have unclaimed assets?

One of my better clients -- and I think one of the most responsible ones I represent -- is a company that recovers escheated funds for both individuals and businesses. They pay well, the check comes with the overnight docs, and they have never attempted to hardsell or scam any of their clients, best I can tell.

I send them a Valentine's every year. Heck, I'd put 'em up in my guest bedroom if they're ever out this way.

Yes, twice now. Don't remember the co's, but in both cases: not much paperwork, I was paid a fair fee--including travel-- in timely manner, the signers were happy as loons about it. Susan, 'I thought it was a pretty nice dog'. I've seen structured settlements that, imho, were worse deals for the signers--who initiated that process.

Just fyi

Searching for and obtaining Unclaimed Property is easy. It's by state, just Google "Unclaimed Property" and your state, and go to the STATE'S site.

If you find something that rightfully belongs to you, you complete a form & provide whatever documentation is necessary, mail it to them & if it's complete, the property (usually money) is released.

We've done this numerous times, upon the deaths of relatives.

Yes…There are several very good companies doing this kind of thing, one of the best is United Recovery in TN. Good to work for, and they pay you in front.

Yes, I've done several for this company over the years, check always comes with documents. Easy, Peasey. Fifteen minutes tops.

Have done once a few months back. Easy 10 min job, pay fair and check came in two weeks.
Will do again.
