FASS question

I just received a call from FASS for a closing. The area code showed the call came from Alaska when obviously they are not in Alaska. Just curious as to how they are able to do that. Of course I am also curious as to why they would do that but that is for them to answer I guess.

Any ideas?

http://calleridfaker.com/ is just one program of many for cell phones, you can "spoof" land lines by other methods. Google is your friend.

I think more companies will be doing this to get around their ratings here, "Oh, we aren't that office." *wink, wink*

I doubt a company as large as FASS would go through such trouble to avoid negative postings on this website. FASS pays their notaries. They just offer low fees.

They very well could have a call center in Alaska. They have them in Texas, Florida, India......
