Has anyone heard of Title Source?

I received and e-mail solitication from a company called Title Source to register as a Notary. It looks like they may have some connection to the NNA. Has anyone heard of or did business with this company?

Hmmmm...I have a question about a title company. What to do, what to do.

Should I go to Signing Central on Notary Rotary, which lists and ranks title companies, and look under the title company name to see if is listed?

Naw, no way. That's for people who try to conserve time and effort. I'm just gonna post a question on the NotRot Discuss Work forum so that all the other people who have time on their hands can occupy some of that time answering my question.

At Hugh: You forgot to mention that button - the Orange

one - Search. Oh, so useful.

When these things are utilized first, more respect is given to the user.

Do not use respect and Hugh in the same sentence.

@bagger: the respect is for the searcher - the one who

should be using the button before asking.

I can tell this is Friday. (LindaH - you always warn of this.)

Hmmmmm.
Since I am obviously superior to the orignal OP, I believe that I will pontificate once again.
I am better than you since I am correct in all of my observations and opinions, and you are obviously a blithering idiot.
Everyone who does not agree that there is no superior being ( a God), and that President Obama and the Democratic party is the saviour of us all, you are idiots and not worthy of my guidance. So you can go to he**.
Got that about right Hughey?

Bagger, if you're going to try to match wits with your betters, at least try to do it with a bit more panache and a trifle less dyspepsia.

Oh...sorry. Forgot to whom I was responding.

If you're going to match wits with your betters, Bagger, try to do it gooder.

LOL!! My betters?????
YOU?
Hugho, there was a time when I respected your opinion. Now I just feel sorry for you.
Marxists and Socialists have no rtoom in my world. You are a non-entity as far as I am concerned.
You can take your superior attitude and place it where the sun don't shine. I don't care a wit about your whiney me first attitutde.
You are NOT my better, you are the lowest self-serving scum on this planet.
Go complain to Harry, or better yet crawl back into your snit cave for a few more months.

Take this over to the Politics, Bagger.

Hugh has been on this forum a whole lot longer than you and is respected by many of it's long-time members, of which I am one. If you don't like what he has to say, don't read his posts. Plain and simple.

I agree, also been around for a while and experienced his impulsive behavior. he is fast
when posting insults, rather than verifying suggestions first.

Re: laugh and last word

Thank you all for the laugh! I most often come here when I'm bored, lonely or unhappy. Why? Because it is filled with witty, humorous and insightful comments. It's comforting to know there are light hearted notaries who just want to share some experience, light and joy in this world and I believe Hugh contributes greatly to this anomaly.

Agreed. He's one of my favorite posters!

Now don't let your head swell anymore, Hugh. But, in all seriousness, have you ever thought about donating that brain to science when the time comes?????? It would be such a waste, otherwise!!

***have you ever thought about donating that brain to science***

Science has already rejected my brain.

The Vatican has rejected my morals.

The Playboy Wax Museum has rejected my body, and I have to say, they didn't have to be so insulting about it.

Looks like about the only thing left is to scatter my ashes over the Gulf of Mexico. Please, don't anybody let the EPA know what I'm considering.

You must give Hugh some slack.
From time to time he must expand as he did for years before judes and juries in his profession:
An HONEST Texas lawyer of the "old school",was a member of the Texas bar before a law school ot test were required.
Hugh, I know you are going to tell us about all your degrees, but remember in the Great State of Texas only UT Law Scool is reconized. LOL! LOL!! Hook'm!!!

Yes! I did a lot of work about a year ago with Nations Direct out of Anaheim Hills, CA (lots of work but very low pay; good payment schedule). Most of their work was done for Title Source Inc out of Troy MI. I have not heard from N.D since I raised my fees over a year ago.

The new NSA recruitment is direct from Title Source (there is another Title Source in Livonia, MI; not familiar with this one). I do not recall having any problems with the Title Source in Troy, MI; although, in their recent add, the payment for signings is very low. I signed up for inclusion in their system but changed fee structure to my own higher level...they will probably not call me. Hope this helps. jer/Ohio

Whenever I get one of those solicitations I do the same thing about rates. I either fill in their form with my rates, or send an additional email with a listing of my rates. I get called occasionally. They usually start with "I know your rate is $____ but I was wondering if you could do just this one for $___". My answer is always a very polite, I sent my rates so that you wouldn't have to waste time calling me if you were not ready to pay that. Only works sometimes, but I won't spend 2,3,4, or 5 dollars a gallon to go out for $40 or $50. I know work is scarce, but since my budget is tight, I have to think of my work vs. profit margin even more than before. MHO
