I understand DOC's come late
but how late is to late? This was my second signing. I had a signing for Friday morning at 10 and the doc's didn't come to me until 2 am (showed time when sent). When I woke up Friday morning first thing I did was open my email and got busy printing 360 pages that included the Borrower's copies and look over everything thank goodness I didn't have to collect a cashiers check. How would ya'll have handled that if a cashier check needed to be collected? The banks were closed Good Friday.

Email someone to send borrower wiring instructions today and be done with it.

Are you sure the banks were closed? I believe ours
were open Friday...historically, if memory serves me, at leat for me personally my banks have always been open on Good Friday.
Regardless, if banks are closed, talk to title/hiring party - get authorization to either (a) have borrowers wire the money over the 3-day rescission period or (b) get a cashier's check the next business day and send it in - request a separate shipping label for them to return the check.

IMO docs are not late until at least 2hrs before closing
Although I have recently been getting docs a lot earlier, I still occassionally get docs even less than 1hr before closing. Also, it should be LO's resp to let borrower know funds are due. If they do not have them when I arrive I just let title know & let them work it out w/borrower, no big deal. If title is unavailable I still go through w/the closing & email or leave a mssg to let them know.

I think you may be confusing banks with the stock markets. I believe they close on Good Friday, not for religious reasons, but because it's the anniversary of Black Friday, the stock market crash that preceded the Great Depression.
