Love the Diversity
What other job would find me one day, riding a gondola to get to the ski lodge to sign a couple whilst on their skiing vacation to shortly thereafter, finding myself on the edge of a river bank swatting mosquitoes as I wait for the rafting guide to float down and see me in time to stop long enough for me to perform his signing! No joke! Only as a Signing Agent and only in California!! Things are slow, but I wouldn't trade it!

zippy skippy; love my ride, love my roads and pathways, love my neighbors, love my job.
And so thankful every day for such fortunes.

What a blessing! I've had similar experiences. I met an original COWGIRL yesterday in Santa Ynez. She was the daughter of a migrant farmer from Oklahoma in the Bay Area. They lived in a tent as a child, she's 84 now. Beautiful. Has lots of money but doesn't tough botox. Doesn't have to. She smiles from within. She took herself through college and became an education administrator after 20 years, then retired and put herself through law school. She was a tough prosecutor for a major criminal defense firm downtown LA. Now she rides her horses through Santa Ynez Valley with a bunch of ladies and plays tennis at Alisal. What a gal. We're going to write her bio. She's so modest, and I think she's a hero. Emancipated long before many of us knew how to spell the word.
Love this biz! Especially for the people I get to meet along the way. And last night I did a signing for some people I met ten years ago in this business. Before children! It was a great reunion.
