MortgageDoc's
I just received the below email:
"The following NEW order is available in your area! Are you available? Let us know by replying to this email ONLY.
((( Order Types and Fees ))) READ what is after the Clients name for this order to know what type of order this is and the fee. Two order types Signings and Field Chases ::
(Signings) = Loan Modification and Auto Loan signing for $30 or Refinance signing for $75 (Field Chases) = Simple field chase/inspection, answer questions and take photos, for $10
MD Order Number: XXX Client Name: Rels (Signings) Address: XXXX City, State, Zip: XXXX Scheduled Date: 4/15/2011 Scheduled Time: 05:00 PM"
My response:
I’ll take it if the doc’s are over-nighted. I can’t afford to pay the overhead of e-doc’s for only $75. My print fee is $XX for a SS.
Thank you for offering and considering me! I’m very grateful. If you want an awesome closer, please feel free to meet my fee.

I'm really not understanding their e-mail. Many Lenders do both Loan Mods & Refi's....so how do you know which fee you are agreeing to (or, in most cases--countering!!!) unless you know whether it's a $30 LMod or a $75 Refi. What am I missing here?

Lee, it says it right after the Client's name:
"Client Name: Rels (Signings) "
This is a refi - $75; if it were a mod it would say mod, if auto loan it would say that too....at least that's how I understand it when I get these e-mails.
Either way - the fee is far too low to even warrant a response IMO...

oops, I made a mistake...
How it was posted is the borrowers name followed by the type of closing it was...so it's a refi...
Client Name: XXXXXXXXX Rels (Signings)

The last time I accepted a job from them (they met MY fee of $125) however, they didn't pay as agreed and took 60 days to pay.
I no longer even bother to respond or accept assignments from them.

I have received these kind of e-mails from Closeline and it's always 35 to 45 miles away...never seem to be able to respond fast enough to see what they pay.

I did many of WAMU signing at thier branches fr this "guy" 5 plus years ago. At that time he paid $75 for docs that were at the branch of overnighted and $25 for printing e-docs. He then reduced the e-docs printing to $10 by saying "ALL you neede to do was to direct the docs to the printer. It would do the work and you could be doing something else." Now I see he do NOT pay for printing or any other of your expensivies.
