a first for me, BWR cancels signing because

they have a "friend" who is a notary and they will do it for 1/2 price. LOL ( low ballers everywhere).

I mentioned a similar situation a few months back where my neighbor "informed" the TC/SS they wanted to have me do it and they were told that could not be done. Damned if you do, damned if you don't! At least they were two different companies so I guess there's no NORM.

Friends of mine recently refi'd. They requested me as notary. Title wouldn't allow. Had to be "one of their notaries."

That notary ended up going back 3 additional times for re-signings. Seems he didn't know how to handle a trust and couldn't be bothered to ask hiring party.
