And they have notaries agreeing to that payment plan?
Guess my next question is...WHY??? Geez, how dare all my providers bill monthly and expect checks monthly...

how long would they let us stay in our home? While we're at it call your car loan company too.

I did a signing for them on 2/23. There was no mention of
that on the confirmation & I would never agree to that.

I couldn't even see a signup section on their
website - possible it's their internal policy? And you'll find out when you call to find out where your check is?

I suspect you can translate that "We pay quarterly" to "We pay quirkily."
Tell them that following their practice, you return their executed documents monthly.

Maybe that's so they can give you hundred's of $$$ in closings and THEN not pay you at all. This way it gives them at least 3 months worth of free closings. What a deal...for THEM! LOL

It just demonstrates the kind of thought processes some in this business have. Let’s not think of fair and equitable ways we and our partner notaries can succeed and prosper in these lean times, lets instead see how much we can screw them out of. Morons! JMO

no wonder they pay late, because they have no idea what belongs to who in their account. Such a foolish policy. They see big balances in their account and think their wealthy, so they payn themselves handsome, and the notary is left in the dark waiting forever.
I would refuse any closing offer from them. Best policy is to pay the notary soon as the check is received, then what is left in the account belongs to the agency. Make sense?

They have always paid me on time for closings but I have had to wait for payment for disclosure signings. They take some time to close and if they don't close for whatever reason it can take up to 60 days. They did disclose this to me at the time I accepted the assignment. I have been working with them for over a year now and they have always paid. I really like working with them and have never turned down an assignment...
