Anyone know about DataQuick

Anyone familiar with this company I took a job for:

It sounds like they may be affiliated with Landsafe but I'm not sure. They are not listed in SC or any other registry I use. (I will add them when I get paid.)

They agreed to my fee then sent me a contract showing their standard fee is $46, ugh. Doesn't say anything about printing or faxbacks fees either.

I've done 3 signings for them-they met my fee and payment was sent within 30 days.

previously known as "transunion" Always a lowballer, but not a stickler about it. . All these years, they have paid quickly. I work with them and glad to do so

Check SC or search for MDA and/or Transunion to see the transitions. They've been transformed several times over the last few years, but the fee has been a constant. At one time they were "reducing" the notary's pay by the fee amount--but that could be protested and waived.

Don't know why they keep changing names/affiliations. Really gets to be a hassle to keep track of the company, the web address and the passwords needed to get into the files when you do a job for them.
