Capital Document Service G/B/U?

I just received a call from a guy from Capital Document Services in CA wanting to know how much I charge to do a closing with edoc's. It sounded to me like he was phishing. I never generally give a fee amount. I always ask what they pay. I ask that because if they say some preposterous fee like $75 w/edoc's, I know they're probably lowballers and not a company I want to work with. Of course I tell them I'm probably not the type of notary they're looking for because my fee is higher than that.

He said he's been in business for 15-16 years. Hmmph He said he has a company that is only doing NJ closings and he's not sure he wants to work with them or not. He was saying that if he took them on as a client, he would only do so if the could get 6 per person per week.

Hmmmm...lol...yeah, okay...also, while I was on the phone with him, I was looking him up on here. He isn't in SC. I told him I didn't see him listed here and he said, oh no, I'm listed with NNA.

Yeah, right. Whatever.

What are your thoughts on that?
