Chase Bank = 911 Black or Blue Ink
It seems to me Chase require all of their doc's to be signed in BLACK ink? Yes? / NO?

Chase Bank hmmmm
Not that I'm aware of. First I've heard that Chase has a preference.

If there is an ink preferance it should be stated in the escrow instructions.

I had two Chase Bank loans last week. One specified “Black Ink Only”. No such requirement on the other. I usually use blue ink as I find my QC easier. I used black on both.

I use blue ink for every loan I close (including Chase) unless it is specifically stated that the lender prefers black ink. I have a few friends that own title companies here locally that I do closings for and they taught me that most lenders prefer blue ink so they know it is an original. I even got a new notary stamp with blue ink because that is what a lot of the title closers here in my area use. Not saying this is the way everyone has to do it. I am just saying that this is what I personally prefer and have never had any problems with it.

I too use a blue ink stamp, and give the borrowers blue ink pens to sign with….most of the time. I also carry a black ink stamp and black ink pens. Some companies require black ink. Some companies want blue ink on the first and black ink on the second. Some places require black ink, or a particular color (like purple) on your stamp. Follow your States laws, and do as requested. I used either black or blue ink with Chase docs, and I never had any problems with them. But always read your instructions.

I've signed many Chase loans in black ink for LSI. I always used black for all LSI closings (unless instructed otherwise) because in their vendor agreement that I signed years ago, it said to always use black ink. Now they just revised their confirmation form and it specifies to always use blue ink unless instructed otherwise. So now LSI Chase gets blue.
With all other closings, I use blue unless instructed otherwise.

Thanks to all of you NotRots for the replies.
Well, Chase always stipulates black ink in HELOC instructions from several loan production centers However, I received a refi of one of their own mortgages from a different (East Coast) location without any such instructions. So, I just used blue ink, which is what 99.9% of everyone else prefers. Pierce county, WA, where the property is located, has no such ink preference.
One reason I posted the question is that It was too late (10:00 PM EST) to contact anyone about my blue/black quandary. I thought I would send out a NotRot 911 message to see how fast I could get a reply. It didn't work too well. I had to leave for the appointment without hearing from the NotRot crew. But, again, thanks for all of the input.
