This company has sent me several offers of $40 for a quick inspection with 3-4 photos. When the confirmation comes, it states that they are paying $25 or less for the inspection. Each time I've emailed them to try to get clarification with no response.

Has anyone else had this experience with them?

I did a couple of them 3-4 years ago, wasn't worth the pay (there was no problem with them paying). They seem to 'up' the pay when no one takes the job, but in my local area that never happened.

Signed up with them but never worked for them - they are just to widely spaced and far ranging and only wanted to pay $25. Now they are offering $15, so I just said to take me off their list. Maybe 10 on one street, but not one at a time for sure.

I've worked with them--most recently in March or April this year.

I always clarify that the pay is $40 for an inspection, which usually take me about 1/2 hour to take a few pictures and talk to the parties involved. These have been to verify that there is a legitimate business applying to be a vendor, and they are not too difficult. I won't take any that are not within my usual travel path, and I schedule them when I'll be in the area.

Pay is within 30 days, and any questions I have have been answered politely and professionally.

I did a lot of work for them in the past. Never a problem paying. Easy assignments. I would definitely work for them again at the $40 fee as long as the locations were close by. I found that I had a lot flexibility in scheduling those inspections - so that it fit my schedule as well as the customer's. What I really liked was no phone calls. If you submit the report correctly the next response from ComplyTraq is a paycheck.
