Vitamins - One-a-Day used to be the norm, could
always count at least on one a day, many days more.
Slowly there was a downward spiral to one a week, then one a month. If what goes up must come down, does the obverse also hold true? Will what goes down now go up? It has - I'm up to one a week now and getting to 3-4 calls per week. Unfortunately, some of those calls just don't allow for profit.
During this flux, it is all the more important to maintain my fee structure with a healthy profit margin. With less profit due to less jobs available, who can afford to cut fees? When I run out of paper or toner, where would I find the money to replace?
Equipment failure is just not in the budget right now... things to really examine in your pricing of your jobs. BTW - the car repairs are also equipment budget related - can you get new tires stress-free when it is time? Or will you get on the highway this winter or in summer rain storms with less than adequate tires?
Those One-a-Days are no more in Central FL.
