Not sure of this topic. My phone service allows me to enter a code to forward all my calls to my cell phone.

So has every phone service for about half a century. Try putting your landline on forward, and then answering it. The Gigaset lets you answer either one.

There are many handset phones that now have bluetooth capability to answer both landlines & cell phones. Mine is a V-tech. I'm sure they had to get on-board, since many people are ditching landlines altogether. I would too, except for business & using a landline for faxing.
