I just want to introduce myself

I've been a notary for a year now and I read this forum everyday. I'm a retired grocery store manager and do notary work partime to help pay my country club dues.

Buddy, introducing yourself now...

...is like saying "Hi, I'm Buddy" at Thanksgiving as the pumpkin pie is served. You've already become part of the background music.

ah Hugh, you always bring a laugh to my tummy...

I love your sense of humor, especially when it comes to this business.

I must admit, you were an acquired taste though...lmao (you started it with the darn Pumpkin Pie!)...it took me a while to understand your wry sense of humor with a WHOLE LOTTA sarcasm.

But it really does bring on a belly laugh (speaking for myself.)

Welcome Buddy! I am a daily reader but don't post much. It amazes me how much free time some of these " High Profile " Notaries have to bash everyone and anyone not in their crew. This post will start a rash of hateful comments I am sure. Its no wonder this industry is treated like dirt. Have to treat people with respect before you get it. Its easy to talk down to one when your hiding behind a keyboard. Good luck and hope you make those dues.

Yikes, sounds like a little hatin goin on right there...lmao I'm not bashing just finding the humor in it...

Just sayin...

BTW, welcome Buddy to our dysfunctional, yet very informative and educational forum.

You're a big boy, I'm sure, and can make decisions as to what you find useful.

I love the saying "keep what you like (or need) and leave the rest."

Some of us are more passionate than others, some of us are more aggressive and still some of us are more PASSIVE aggressive. Again, take what ya need and leave the rest.

Good luck! Smile Wink

Thanks everyone. I do have 1 signing today, after golf of course. I'm off to the golf course now so I will read some more of this forum tonight when I get home.
I sure glad I don't have to rely on this full time, I'm sure I'd starve to death.
I just want to be part of the team. Thanks again everyone.
Buddy

Buddy, welcome! I'm sure you realize that the

"STUFF" at the end of the aisles, eye level, bottom of the shelf are there by design....just like here. You most likely have already figured out what the layout is on this forum, it's the same. Discount the "dated" products. LOL

Hmmmm...

***Discount the "dated" products.***

I passed my expiration date at least a decade ago. A minimum of two ex-wives and enough ex-girlfriends to field a softball team - with substitutes, yet -- can attest to that. So I guess I go in the remainder bin?

Suggestion re: use of this forum - and short messages

BTW, this isn't intended just for Buddy, but he's giving me an opportunity to remind people about something...

When we post a short message, it's a good idea to just put it into the Subject line, rather than in the body of the Message. If there's nothing in the Message section, the system adds "nm" at the end for "no message". That way, readers know that there's nothing else to read for that post and it saves clicking on an empty box. It's just a smooth little time saver - much appreciated when this board gets very busy and when we're trying to keep up with what's going on here, while also printing docs, making calls, etc., etc.

Just for what it's worth...
