Insured Closings
Does anyone know what it means when a company has a red bar by their name? Of course before i found out about this site i took 2 jobs from insured closings in April and i have not gotten paid. Accounting told me in June my check had been mailed i guess its LOST. I have emailed several times with no reply.

If you're talking about a red bar to the right of their name in the SC list, it means you've added a rating on that co. Apparently not a good one.

You'll get paid. Sometimes it takes several reminders. They pay very slow, but they do pay. Msg me if you need an accounting contact to speed things up.

I received a check this past Friday for two loans dating back to March and April. We'll see if it clears, as I have heard their checks have bounced. I, too, sent invoices, made calls, and sent emails for payment. I worked with them for probably nine years, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to refuse future work. I just can't do business that way, no matter how nice the workers are at the office.

I refuse work for them now too. Haven't been paid for closings I did back in March. UGH. Hope they don't join the ranks of those co's who have gone under...
