Signings
If anyone in the Riverside Area needs help with a signing, I am here. Escrow Officer for over 20 years. Will travel if you can't make it to your borrower, I will. We can split the bill.

Tara, this is not a forum to advertise your services
This forum is to communicate with your fellow notaries public, share experiences, and ask questions.
Although some hiring parties read the forum, the majority of users are notaries just like you.
Click on the Signing Central tab above for a list of signing services and title companies to contact for work.
Good luck.

lol...That sounds like...
"I don't mind sharing, there is plenty of work out there. " I love when people say that. It cracks me up. De-javu. (I know that's spelled wrong. Can someone help me out here? How is it spelled, it's driving me crazy!!)
That sounds like what the NNA was professing, pushing, lying about etc...and it's the biggest fraudulent statement "out there." lol!!!! Well, maybe it was true way back when, but it's certainly a fraudulent statement NOW!! LOL (in my opinion, and when the nna says it, and also, that would depend on what area of the country you're in.)
And hey, maybe that's true if you take lowballs. So all I say is, take those lowball fees, use twice the amount of overhead, make half of what I make and in the long run, I'll be making as much, or more as you are doing half the work and using half the overhead.
Of course this is all "how I see it." Doesn't make it right. There could be extenuating perspectives that I have no idea about.

I was talking about everything that can be notarized. Why
limit yourselves?

Beware of this practice - companies frown on this unless it's approved in advance....when they contract with a notary they expect THAT notary to do the job, not sub it out.

Dittoes to Linda H's analysis. A veritable can of
legal worms as well, not to even mention Ethics.

Clueless
<<Will travel if you can't make it to your borrower, I will. We can split the bill.>>
It looks like I'm the only one who has no idea what this poster is talking about. What does "split the bill" mean? That Notary A takes a job, and if he/she can't make it, Notary B will sign the borrowers and they'll split the fee? Wow. Take that to the bank. Let's see two goes into $60 .... Even 2 goes into $100 ..... Woopee. Not only are we barely making it financially at full fee, now somebody wants to split it?
And what does <<I was talking about everything that can be notarized. Why limit yourselves?>> mean?
Anyway, somebody who's been an escrow officer for 20 years has seen it all and must know what he/she's talking about ... but I don't.

Re: Clueless
I would think that someone who's been an escrow officer for 20 years would be able to establish a really strong client base (or would have the basis for one BEFORE jumping in the water) and wouldn't have to "split the bill" with anyone..
But that's just me..
