SoCalsignings
I had previously posted a question wondering if anyone knew if SCSignings was still in business. I posted thatquestion because I had an issue on one of my signings with regard to payment and I was not able to get a return phone call on it. Subsequently, since my posting, I did get through to Lisa at SCSignings and she was unaware of the problem I was having and has assured me that it will be corrected immediately. I have confidence that she will follow through as I have never had any issues with this company before this incident. She was very accomodating and professional and in my experience with this company in the past, they are very dependable and I really appreciated her prompt response.

Yeah, she talks a good game. Been there, done that. According to recent posts, she stiffs some, pays some. Goes to China, stiffs some, pays some; goes to Paris, stiffs some .. well you get the idea. But GOOD LUCK!

Signing 6/9. Called after 35 days. Told she pays in 45 days. On day 50 sent e/m informing her that after 60 days we call borrower, lender and title and inform them of non payment. She replied that the check went out and did not appreciate the "threat". Received check on day 56

Re: SoCalsignings - Negative Review
This was my last signing with scsignings. Last second signing, bad scheduling, gave 20-min to sign a 120 page document. Had to reschedule when both parties would be there. Got there and the docs were wrong 1/2 way though signing. The clients stopped signing. 3-different interest rates and the fees were off by $3K in several places. There was no right cancel. I have spent hours back and forth Lisa before the signing and after the signing.
So let's wrap up. I worked 2-hours before dealing with scheduling issues and document issues. I spend 1+ hours with the client who stopped mid signing. I called and called from the clients home and no one answered. I had to print 2-sets of docs. I had to follow up post signing
2-hours prep 1/2 hour driving 2-sets of eDocs 1+ hours with the client 1+ hours follow up and emails
They will only pay $40 for 6 1/2 hours of my work. The original fee was $150.00 but because it did not close only $40. It did not close due to bad work between them and the title company.
I will not deal with them again.
