Newegg sometimes runs some really good sales. I have found that their normal prices are not that bad anyway.

Depends on your printer. This is a topic that has been discussed often. Have you done a search? (I recommend searching for "toner" vs "toners" BTW.)

My printers are HP and Dell Lasers. After trying 3 or 4 suppliers, with varying prices, quality, and results, I went to Amazon.com. Their suppliers include some names I've heard before, and some are not, but I've made two purchases from different suppliers and both were of good quality, at about 20 to 25% of the prices charged by Dell and HP. Yes, I'm saying they were 70 to 75% LESS than at the OEM. I previously did some refilling with kits, but these prices are so low I don't believe I'll ever go the do-it-yourself refill route again. Roll Tide, y'all.

I would never say LD, they are the absolute worst place to buy toner. I get mine from SuperMedia and I love them. Never had a single one that wasn't great quality. They last so long, I'm always amazed at how many pages I get from each cartridge, they just keep on going, even better than the energizer bunny. They'll send you emails with specials pretty regularly, too.

I've been getting toner for a few years now from

http://www.suppliesoutlet.com

For example I get CE255X up to 12,500 pages for $42 (Warranty: Full Year Warranty from us & will not void your printer warranty.) Staples has it for $223.99 and Provantage has it for $142. I've never had a problem.

OK, Bob ....

Thanks for the tip! I just ordered 6 cartridges for my HP P2015D for $160. The same order with LD was $234. Yuk! I had switched from LD when things started going south there to momoprice, but it was very clear after a couple of orders that their high-yield cartridges were anything but - I ran through them waaaay too fast. Nothing near 7,000 pages. Out of desperation I went back to LD. I'll keep my fingers crossed with Color Toner Expert.

Incidentally, one of my two P2015 printers just went kaplooie after a paper jam incident. I can't believe a lousy paper jam would totally fry it - but it sure seems dead....?
