Buddy and Marian 1 me/notarysigner 0

While there are still many views of what is right/acceptable/not acceptable from different part of the country the specific guidelines in Marian's post about the government code is the right thing to do, for Ca. Jurats. Thanks for bringing it up buddy because it did clear things up beyond a reasonable doubt.

So this is what I did. I called the TC and spoke with the Sr. Escrow Officer and explained the problem. I sent faxed her copies of Calif. compliant Jurats and ACKS and a copy of the Calif. Gov't code to validate. She was very happy about the info. She also said they would enter the copies into their database and educate their staff to make sure they sent the correct Docs out to notaries in California; Anything to eliminate the possibility of problems for their clients.

Great info James. Can't tell you how many times I have included flawless CA certs on documents and CA notaries go ahead and attach another one, usually one they tore from a pad. I don't know if they don't read, or if they don't understand that one does not have to attach a certificate each and every time.
