Yaro deed from Russia
I am helping a girl with some adoption paper from Russia. She has a Yaro Deed that the notary has to compete and sign. Did any of you know what this Yaro deed is ? I don’t think I can do it as I am not notarize any signature.

I'm not aware of anything in CA notary law that would allow us to sign and stamp that form as it is. As you said, there's no signature of another party there to notarize. As written, it's asking the notary to certify to something that goes beyond our pay grade, if you will. The only thing I can think of that we could do with that is to have them convert it to some sort of affidavit that THEY sign, and then you can notarize their signature on it.
I'm guessing that notaries in Russia are more like notaries in other parts of the world where they have much more authority than we do.

After googling Yaro Deed and looking over the
adoption process on the website - I agree with Janet that this doesn't look like something you can do as it stands; also, considering the complex process, I'd strongly suggest to this girl that she consult an attorney to help her through this maze. One mis-step on her part could stop the whole process and send her back to square one..
