I heard today they are hiring 100 in the Minneapolis office and adding all these people to the mortgage department. This was on the news. I also heard from an employee they are lowering thier credit standing limits to allow others to buy.

WF is now #1. Really notice their red & yellow logo/signs since they took over all the Wachovia branches locally.
I've been doing a lot of RM signings that are WF. Of course, they stopped taking apps for those June 30, but closing loans up to Sept. 30. It's going to be a busy mo.

They are definitely gearing up here in Minnesota. Monster, Craigslist, all the contract agencies are trying to pull in people for WF. I used to be a contractor for them and still get calls from the agencies to go back. I'm glad it's busy.......it means loan closings in my future.
