American Freedom Assurance
I did a signing for them Sept. 7 and followed instructions about my invoice. Nov 21, I finally get them to pay attention... They finally paid me but told me it was my fault. According to them they have 5% to 10% of notaries who don't follow instructions about getting paid. Really?

I do not see them in SC - either logged in or out. Would you please add them? There have been so many comments about them - can't link them without them being there. Also, make sure you state they are nationwide, not just few states.
Thank you so much - we all have to stay on top of this.

I was sucked in by them as well and was finally paid after 58 days and several emails and re-faxing my invoice, which they kept misplacing.
I always check SC on companies I have not worked for before, but they are listed as AFA Title on SC, but always go by American Freedom durings calls and emails and I did not make the connection until after I completed the job.

Kind of deceptive isn't it? I know that I have worked for them and there were just too many excuses. I hate chasing my money....hate it!

They have historically been slow to pay--around 60 days with reminders.

LOL, they have 100% failure in paying in my experience. Whether or not you did everything they asked for...
