Letter to non paying companies

Does anyone have a standard letter that you send to companies that you have done work for, but have never been paid (regardless of all of the phone calls, invoices, messages left..etc)?

Do a search of "collection" letters...there are several that have been posted here over the years. Good luck. There is also a recommended plan of collecting, steps to take, and last resort if you still don't get satisfaction.

I find nagging to be the most effective. At first I send invoices weekly followed up my daily invoices, emails, phone calls

Cheryl has a letter ...

search message # 350560.

Also, JulieD/KS has a collection letter she may e-mail to you if you ask. I hear it's a killer..

I don't know if it's a killer, GG, but it's never failed to work except on that one stinky company that went bankrupt.

You really don't need a letter. An email like this will get you paid in a heartbeat. It works

"Well XXXX, I'm sorry but that's not acceptable to me. I will take whatever action necessary to recover my full fee....up to and including your insurance carrier."

This goes to the TC CEO/CFO. Stop messing around with the SS (who will be fired) and Escrow officer/office Manager).

Contacting the Insurance carrier will cause them raise there (TC) rates and they don't want that to happen because of some SS not paying. I've been thru this a number of times and know it to be true.

Oooooh, good one, JD!

Where'd you come up with that? It's right up there with another recent post where the notary said she/he would send a letter to the TC escrow officer, saying that among other things the escrow officer would be listed in the small claims action by name! I thought that sounded like it might work well.
