I have been doing Mobile Notary work for 10 years and went full time this past summer- I usually average about 15 signings per week-this past 2 weeks have been slow, but I am trying to be hopeful that it will pick up soon- In the meantime, I am enjoying getting to know other notaries and learning and sharing experiences--I am also trying to expand my services to additional signing companies--these forums help to weed out the deadbeats--My top companies are JMT, Servicelink, LPC, LPS and Equifax-they all seem to be prompt with payment and good to work with- do you have any companies that you would suggest I check out?

My work has always been slow

Or at least, more than one boss has told me that, and I'll admit I've been fired from a couple of jobs because of it. I prefer that to blaming the complaints by the female coworkers.

Hugh, us older guys know that slow and steady wins the race and especially if she is not wanting to run very fast.

Work is very slow for me too. Get maybe a call or two a day for last-minute, low pay that I turn down.
