Any work with Infiniti Title before?
Has anyone worked with Infiniti Title company before. For the first time in performing closings in the past five years I have been instructed to print all docs on 8 1/2 by 11 paper. I am wonding if this is because this is a revocable trust signing which I have never done before. Just wondering....... I am just concern that the company may come back and say some documents should have been printed on legal such as the HUD 1. Sometimes these instructions can be confusing.

I have done several signings were everything was on letter, also have doen several where everything was on legal. As long as you have the instructions, it's not your problem.

Not Infiniti Title, but....
I do a lot of loans for one TC where they say 'all legal'....and, in reality, the only doc that absolutely requires legal is the 4 page HUD. Rest can all be done on letter. After one of these I asked 'do you really need ALL legal'? No... just be sure it prints pretty. Whole lot cheaper doing the HUD on legal and the rest on letter size. Just another TC attempt at idiot-proofing the doc printing.

And then there is Chase loans. Everything is on letter. Go figure.

As long as you have written instructions to print everything on letter size paper, that's what you should do. You're covered if they come back later and say something should have been on legal size paper. Don't over-think this stuff; it will drive you nuts eventually if you try to second guess them...

I've done a few for Infiniti Title through a SS. The instructions say print all on 8 1/2 x 11 but the doc's came mixed. Since I have a dual tray printer I just printed as I received. They did specifically ask that the 1003 be printed on legal.

Hey Cap, don't sweat it. I have been receiving more and more requests for docs printed on letter, including the HUD. Just do what they ask, and hang on to the instructions in case you need proof in the future.

The county recorder charges more to record legal size docs.
The DOT should be printed on letter size paper.

Sometimes the DOT is formatted for legal size paper.
Stoli, we must always follow the instructions we are given. If the DOT is formatted for legal size, it must be printed legal. It doesn't matter if the recorder charges more.

If it's formatted for legal it should be printed on
legal - the additional recording fees have been accounted for on the HUD..
Not to mention you print on letter you risk pages cut off at the bottom. And printing "shrink to fit" to reduce from legal to letter may render the font non-conforming with recording requirements.
Safer to not play games and just print the way it's formatted.

If you mean Finiti Title, yes their requirements are the for
everything shrunk to letter-size, 2 DOT, & black ink. They are all Citibank loans--not huge pkgs. & fairly easy. There are usually 3 1003's, btw.
