Been slow here too,
but I live in a rural area and a good week is maybe five signings. Not to worry because I'm retired and signing money helps put gas in the motorhome. Got a call today for a re-fi in my area. I asked for the company name three times and she mumbled it to me each time. I do know it was not Nations Direct. She offered $75 and I told her my local fee was $$$. She told me she had several more calls to make and would get back to me. Obviously everyone knows what happened.LOL. Some low-ball SA accepted $75. Guess what, I can out wait these low-ball signing agents until their credit cards are max'd out and they have to go to work at Wal-Mart to pay their card balances. JMHO

I'm with you Jim. I have had several calls low balling fees. Someone in my area is taking them because they are certainly not calling me back. I will say, however, that I have been called a couple of time to go back and notarize docs that were incorrectly completed for a mere $10 less than what they were offering for the entire loan package! You get what you pay for IMHO!
