DocPros Incentive email

Did anybody else get this? And if so, will you refer? I'm pretty sure I won't. Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through for $25 and then, in the end, we still may be cutting our own throats despite their assurances.

I agree, Pam and I will not be referring. It sounds like they are hoping we will do their leg work and then get paid $25.00 (!) after said company gives them 5 jobs! Who has the time? JMHO

Got the email in triplicate, shook my head at how stupid someone would have to be to give them their title company names and how much guts DocPro has to send out an email like that, and deleted.

I didn't get the e-mail..but from this thread...is that what

it is? They're offering $25 for the names of the title companies we work directly for?

They can't be serious...

Still had it in my trash bin

Dear DocPros Notary, We are thrilled to announce that due to the increased demand for our (and YOUR) services, we have moved our corporate offices to a new and bigger location! Although we are processing more orders per month than ever, we are always excited about new opportunities to be of broader service to lenders, title and escrow. With that said; we would like to offer an incentive to our notaries through the end of March. We know that you do business with your local title and escrow offices and we support your niche as the “go to” person for their local signings. We would never even try to replace the independent notaries as they provide dedicated service to their favorite clients. However, we do know that your clients have loans that need to be signed out of county and out of state. That is where we come in! J As you know, we are one of the best in the biz and we would love the opportunity to prove that to your referrals. If your referral executes all of the following: 1. Registers with us as a New Client on our site2. Indicates that you referred them (at the bottom of the sign up page) http://www.docpros.net/register.php?mode=regform&type=escrow3. Places at least 5 orders with us We will subsequently send you a $25 VISA gift card. Our system emails us every time a client registers, so I will personally email you the notification when your referral registers and will email you again when they have closed their 5th transaction with us so that you know your referral bonus is on the way. If you are interested in participating in this program, please respond to me via email and I will send you a PDF version of our flyer for you to distribute at will. I will gladly answer any questions that you may have and/or help you with an email template to send to your clients. If you are not interested, there is no need to respond. J Thanks again for your ongoing professionalism and service.

Re: Still had it in my trash bin

Thanks Al, I didn't get it but I would have deleted it too. NO WAY am I giving them my client list for $5 a piece.

Their logic is like a newbie posting on here asking for the names of companies you do business with and why wouldn't we share them because they are not in our area. But someone else on this board is in that area.

Totally agree! No way will I give them my TC client names..

And why on earth would I give them referrals when they offer such piddly fees? I haven't worked for them in years, back when they used to meet my fee and paid in 30 days.

I got it three times, too...

Haven't worked for them in over a year. I used to do a lot for them, especially esgins, but now they only want to pay me $85 because there are others in the area willing to take that much. They did pay me $125 once, but they weren't too happy about it.

$25 gift card for 5 referrals? Hahah.

Re: No....$25 when ONE company places 5 orders with them

OH! Thanks. See, I didn't even read it that closely. All the same, 5 orders....and they will only hand over $25?

Not sure, knowing that they aren't the highest paying company, that I'd want to put my name in the mix by referring some of my favorite TCs to them. It's not worth $25 to damage those relationships if something goes wrong.

Don't they have you sign a "non-compete agreement"?

Reply by Moneyman/TX on 2/2/11 6:24pm
Msg #371161

No, but they do have a 'don't tell others how low we pay'

clause in their IC agreement (obviously it is stated with different words).

It's in section 7 of their IC agreement.

I received it also. No, I won't be sending anyone their way. The last job I did for them they took nearly 60 days to pay and that was after a lot of time "reminding" them. I would refer TC to this site or state networks so that they can call SA directly. There is no way I would ever refer anyone to a company that took nearly 60 days to pay me!

LOL And not for (gulp!) $25 AFTER 5 signings.

Incentive or just simply marketing??

You really can't blame them for asking can you? It's the idiots who actually give them the info that deserve a good tongue lashing.

Another scenerio:

You join forces with them, they decide you have done something wrong and totally cut you out of the loop, telling the tc's that you have become >>>>>>blah, blah, blah. (Insert own lies, untruths, exaggerations, etc.)
