Got a VM from "Enrique" 786-218-1473
All it said was, "We need your help with a closing. Call me at 786-218-1473." And this was in a low, grainy, creepy voice that you would expect to hear from some guy selling you crack in a dark alley.
No company name, no details about when or where the closing was scheduled - nothing. Oh yeah buddy, I'm gonna call you back - NOT!!!!
Then I look up the name "Enrique" here on NotRot, and turns out he's a low payer and a non-payer:

THANK YOU NotRot and Moneyman/TX for posting about this guy!

Thanks Linda. I didn't notice that he had changed his "company" name until today. I received an email earlier this week with the name changed in the contact info. This is what the last email from him had at contact info.

Glad I could help out. I posted more about him on the new site as well (PM me for the site if not familiar with it). Gotta love the "we need help" line from some of these companies that don't pay as agreed.
I think he is feeling the heat because I received another email from him about an hour ago saying (yet again) that he mailed full payment and if I don't receive it tomorrow he is willing to pay via PayPal or Western Union.
PayPal -- No way, not for him. Too easy for someone like that to get the money back.
Western Union -- As long as it doesn't cost me a dime to receive my money.
"creepy voice that you would expect to hear from some guy selling you crack in a dark alley." LOL Wouldn't you need a some light to make sure you aren't buying a sugar cube?

Angelina, I'm glad to hear that you received your payment from him. I haven't yet, but it is good to hear that others have.
BTW, from your post it seems as though you thought that you, or others, may have been prevented in some way from posting "another angle". Everyone has always been free to post g/b/u info on any company. The more information the better for all.

First he Offers to pay me by Western Union - then reneges
Enrique emailed me last week saying that the full payment for his outstanding balance would be mailed last week. When payment did not arrive by Friday, I emailed him asking for the status. In his response, HE offered to pay by Western Union if payment did not arrive by Sat.
When payment did not arrive on Sat, I emailed him and told him that since he offered I would accept payment by Western Union. Here is his reply:

Yep Chris,
Did not arrive today. All mail got returned. It will be there by wed. The check # is ck # 4. Total the full 125.00 dollars to settle this
Take care Chris
Not doing the return union I am not paying the 10 fee plus 50 from past due. You just got to sit and wait.
That’s all I can say
Take care for real this time
Only email me once it arrives this week

Claims "mail got returned" (??) After he offers to pay by Western Union (not "return union") he then complains about the additional charge for using that service. On top of this, I did not request that he use an alternative method of payment he put forth the offer and I accepted.
Here is the email from Friday that contains HIS "offer": ************************************************** from Enrique Acosta <[e-mail address]> to Chris Anthony <[e-mail address]> date Fri, Feb 4, 2011 at 4:41 PM subject RE: Payment status inquiry mailed-by gmail.com signed-by gmail.com
Whatever works best for you.
Thanks
If you won’t I can even wire the money or western union or pay pal or whatever you need and you rip the check so if it is not there tomorrow we can take care of it right away.

IMO, Not only does his lack of professionalism show but his business ethics shine through in his emails. If anyone receives a call from him and he claims to have paid everyone -- here is proof that, as of today, he has not.
LOL -- Enrique has even claimed in email to another SA (NotRot member) that he did not know of this site (Notary Rotary). That's funny considering he has had an agent listing here for a while.
